چکیده

Background: The growing population and limited agricultural land have pushed the demand for higher food production per area. Edible mushrooms are a rich source of protein. Agaricus bisporus is most common edible mushroom with high economic value. One important steps in process white button spawn. It highly to make pure high-quality mycelium during Studies shown that at this stage production, level morphological changes occurs some mushrooms, which causes formation fluffy-shaped mycelium. This phenomenon kind strain degeneration one biggest concerns producers mushroom. Objectives: purpose study was investigate nature stroma (strain degeneration) mushroom, identify genetic changes. Methods: In experiment, ten successive subcultures were produced from mother on potato dextrose agar medium (pH: 6.2), examined after subcultures. DNA extraction performed sampling mother, normal, fluffy mycelia. Six pairs designed primers propagated parts loaded into six polyacrylamide gels. fragments visualized using silver staining. Genetic comparisons made between mycelia by amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) method, results evaluated POPGENE software. Results: AFLP marker 137 H2 strain, 57 had For 737 149 produced, 73 On average, about 42 49% strains, respectively. degree among samples confirmed differences Conclusions: Based present study, we concluded degeneration, manifests as has origin. These can be attributed diverse factors, such heterokaryosis, asexual recombination, mitosis crossing over. factors their effects require further evaluations.

Whole-genome Sequencing of the Cultivated Button Mushroom Agaricus Bisporus:

The culmination of the first half-century of investigations into the genome of Agaricus bisporus was marked by the first whole-genome sequencing for a strain of this species. The genome of a second strain of A. bisporus was sequenced the following year. While a structural view of the genome is now effectively complete, functional interpretations of the many gene sequences, supported by accumula...

Lignin-Degrading Enzymes of the Commercial Button Mushroom, Agaricus bisporus.

Agaricus bisporus, grown under standard composting conditions, was evaluated for its ability to produce lignin-degrading peroxidases, which have been shown to have an integral role in lignin degradation by wood-rotting fungi. The activity of manganese peroxidase was monitored throughout the production cycle of the fungus, from the time of colonization of the compost through the development of f...

Inheritance of Strain Instability (Sectoring) in the Commercial Button Mushroom, Agaricus bisporus.

The button mushroom, Agaricus bisporus, is a commercially important cultivated filamentous fungus. During the last decade, the button mushroom industry has depended mainly on two strains (or derivatives of these two strains). Using one of these highly successful strains (strain U1) we examined the phenomenon of strain instability, specifically, the production of irreversible sectors. Three "str...

A hydrophobin (ABH3) specifically secreted by vegetatively growing hyphae of Agaricus bisporus (common white button mushroom).

Aerial mycelium and hyphal strands of Agaricus bisporus, strain U1, exhibited a rodlet pattern at their surfaces characteristic for assembled class I hydrophobins. An SDS-insoluble/trifluoroacetic-acid-soluble fraction from strands was found to contain one abundant protein with an apparent molecular mass on gel of 19 kDa. Two sequences for this protein (ABH3), typical of class I hydrophobins, c...

Protective Effects of White Button Mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) against Hepatic Steatosis in Ovariectomized Mice as a Model of Postmenopausal Women

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) includes various hepatic pathologies ranging from hepatic steatosis to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), fibrosis and cirrhosis. Estrogen provides a protective effect on the development of NAFLD in women. Therefore, postmenopausal women have a higher risk of developing NAFLD. Hepatic steatosis is an early stage of fatty liver disease. Steatosis can d...
